Everyone targets Sony with there none sense. Another lawsuit to fail for laughing enjoyment. People should focus on companies that ACTUALLY step on your rights instead of wasting there time because they personally hate Sony or w/e there reason is. Wasting your resources on stupid crap like this.

Why do you guys think Sony gets targeted so much with lawsuits? I personally think its jealousy/childish I didn't get what I wanted so lets attack

Perhaps if sony hadn't had a record of trampling on consumers rights and pissing off consumers they wouldn't be such a target for the law suits. some good pr would help them, also not trying to retain control of the devices they sell to consumers would help.

Um.... Sony is trying to veto people's right to sue them, no matter how the company could potentially fuck up in the future.  That sets an incredibly dangerous precedent.  People are trying to do something about this 'stupid crap' that infringes on the very foundations of their rights as consumers.

Big problem with this suit is that the Supreme Court already ruled that a company can put such a provision within their EULA. This was already upheld with the AT&T lawsuit so there is a very slim chance of success.

On another note, the brand loyalty that would make some of you take it like the Monkey frog video on Youtube just amaze me. Some of you are so much sheep because you love a company that sells to you for a profit that you are willing to throw away any rights you have to defend a corporation.
