Maybe im the wrong age/pretentious bracket, but im always more excited to see the big festival films, and award season competitors at the end of each year.

Examples - Shame, Talk About Kevin, Melancholia, The Artist.

Did anyone mention Tree of Life? Anyone see any Korean films? The Yellow Sea for eg.?

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Source Code and Toy Story 3

Brings back memories..

In that case, I'll go with the final Harry Potter movie.

The help. My GF was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and she wanted to know a little more of her heritage. We really enjoyed it, it's a good drama, even with all the sugarcoat and political correctness.

I guess X-man First class..It was good but not great.
Not so good movies this year.

Take my love, take my land..

Margaret Thatcher can hardly be described as female...Which is quite ironic as she was a total and utter cunt :)
