Looks like there's nothing the casual market can't dominate, even the X360 which has long been labeled the hardcore gamers console of choice has been topped by a casual party game.

Inbe4 doomsayers, and the "oh no it dun count" crowd

Great numbers for a bit more then a year on the market, genuinely surprised Black Ops has managed to sell so well in terms of being the main product on the market Black Ops was only around for a year before being succeeded by MW3 - and that was a month ago, a full month later and it's still ahead of KA, if just barely.

To be fair..... not everybody has bought Kinect for Kinect adventures though. I myself have never played Kinect Adventures but I have indulged in Kinect Sport and Dance Central.

Not that amazing of an accomplishment since it was bundled -_-
But considering Sports Champions isn't selling like hotcakes and that is bundled, I can honestly say this is damn impressive!

O_O MW3 already outsold GTA IV in like a month! Amazeballs.

Lol it was only a matter of time before that happened.

And the only game in the 360 top 10 that doesn't involve a bunch of shooting is Kinect Adventures

Simple, if a shooter that sells blockbusters is released every year since 2007, 1,2,3,4,5 it'll dominate at least 5/10 spots in the top 10. Almost the same could be said for PS3 - in whch case it's WaW lagging behind, top 50s are more compareable in terms of diversity of genres, other than that they're almost as much a shooter orientated platforms as each other, the only one that does show diversity is ironically the Wii - which doesn't have many shooters in general.

A title that's bundled consistently with a device, assuming said device is popular enough, should always eventually become the top title - look at sales of Wii Sports. I always view KA as the signal for how well Kinect is doing, in the same way I look at Wii Sports with respect to Wii.

Kinect Sports is the best selling Kinect game. If Adventures was a standalone game, it had zero chance of selling more than Sports.
