Why are they buying the move! There aren't any games for it as Sorcery still isn't out... (but at least it will be coming soon)

But nice to see the PS3 doing well, they should be buying Uncharted 3 instead though

What???

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_Move_games

Well there are many, they just aren't very good, my Move is just sitting there

I have not tried every game in the list... but Killzone 3 is better with Move... LittleBigPlanet 2 is funny too... Heavy Rain was made to play with Move... Echochrome II Move did here again.

Some games are better with Move.

I tried playing Killzone 3 with Move, but I found it too tireing.... probably because i play on a 100" screen, so actually aiming involved quite a lot of movement

As someone who owns around 20 move games, I have to respectfully disagree. Sure the sales are horrible, but there are plenty of great Move Games. Here's a list of all the Move games currently available based on their rating: http://www.movemodo.com/games?sort=rating

I really don't get why most gamers think there aren't any Move games out, or that they're all horrible. Please try Echocrome 2 or Tumble for about an hour and if you don't like them, then just wait for Sorcery or sell your Move.

European Sports Champions sales: 721k
You're telling me that 1/7 of all of those have been sold in Poland alone? On~2% of the total PS3 European userbase.

Isn't that the point of the thread ? That the Move userbase and therefore Sports Champions owners in Poland are above the European average.
Otherwise it wouldn't be surprising at all.

Yeah, but 14% of Sports Champions with 2% of the userbase is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy above average.

yes but clearly these sales are an anomaly. You can easily see that by noticing that in Poland the ps3 to move sales are 400k/200k while sony has shipped 55.3mil+ ps3s and only 8.3mil ps moves. In general only 1 ps3 move sells for 6.66 ps3,  while in Poland that ratio is 1 in 2...

400k ps3 sales out of 55.3mil(shipped) are in Poland or 0.7% yet 200k move sales out of 8.3mil(shipped) are in poland or 2.4%. Sports champion makes up 100k sales out of 2.84mil(vgchartz data) 3.5%. So poland makes up 0.7% of ps3 sales, 2.4% of move sales, and 3.5% of sports champion sales. The ps3 and ps3 move sales are fact because we are comparing them to sony shipped numbers. And so it is very possible sports champions makes up 3.5% of all sales considering how well ps3 move is doing in Poland and the fact that the game is the 3rd best selling ever in Poland while nowhere near that anywhere else. We know that for a fact as well because if it was the 3rd best selling game in every region it would have sold far more then sony has shipped move controllers...

which makes me believe some of these numbers are just wrong.  why would poland be so out of line... 1 in 6 globally is 1 in 2 in poland?  nah.

The 8.3 million sales for Move is March figures... at E3 the new shipped figure was 8.8 million... after that no new figure.

How many Sony shipped after June???

Even if they shipped 10mil move, polish players account for a ridiculous amount of psmove sales when compared to ps3 sales, so it makes sense they account for a ridiculous amount of sports champion sales.

As of November 2011 Sony have shipped 9 million Moves WW.

Some more sales numbers.

Also shows how big Champions sales are when they match BF3 numbers on 3 platforms together ;)

Why did the Fifa PS3 version only get a <40% share? Is the PS2 version selling well or what? (don't even know if a ps2 version exists)

But that's a huge success for PS3 version.

If console version can get 40% of market share against PC behemoth it's really suprising. Typically all console versions put together don't reach 40% ;)

Honestly I got no idea - we are specific market since Nintendo doesn't exist here to the point where PSP had 95% of handheld market share ;) )  But i think 720k is a bit too low.

i know why only psp were sold in poland and u know it as well. it's not like the polish market wouldn't be known for pirating like hell. at least all my polish friends here in germany are very sick if it comes to pirated material of everything. they don't even smoke real cigarettes^^

nothing against poland many people are poor there i can understand that this is a reason for that. i bet in germany it's much worse than in swiss or norway as well.

Not a real reason - almost all DS owners had R4 or other systems like this in their machines too ;)

@zlejedi

ahh ok i didn't know it's so easy with the ds as well^^

do you know the price in euro for move in poland? maybe it's cheaper than in germany and some guys from poland living in germany which are a lot (for people who don't know it) buy it there on vacation for themselves or friends? the ratio is really high didn't know you love move so much in poland :)
