I wanna show some love for , The Darkness. Sucked me right in from the get go, really important for a story driven shooter. And showed how cinematic games can be on the PS3. Very fun opening scene.

Erm, I think I'm missing something with Lufia, Rise of the Sinestrals.

See, Lufia I can wholeheartedly agree with. Also, great, if simple story for both games, and classics that I would actually buy wireless for to buy on VC.

Lufia 2? "Hey Tia, I killed some slimes! Oh Maxim, you're such a brave knight! Here's 39 coins. Oh, my cooking is awful."

I assumed he was referring to fighting the Sinistrals in the opening of Lufia I, not the second with the "Rise of the Sinistrals" subtitle.

Honorable mentions for all the other 3D Zeldas, Silent Hill 2 and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Brawl will be grandiose too I'm sure.


Agree 100% awith Majora's Mask. I always watched the intro to that game EVERY time I played it.

Another one of my favs is the Way of the Samurai intro.  The music is badass:

Sure its cliché and already been mentioned but FFVIIs opening was immense; especially now after they made the tech demo...oh when will they remake it for the PS3...

To be honest though, my favourite is either FFIX or KH because I loved the song.
