Great idea. You should put up some sort of system that will let us use vg$ for our bets.

 Exactly, not that some people need any encouragement to post stupid s--t in the first place.   But until we know what it's good for I don't think it'll be a problem.  Afterwards... we'll see.   I like the idea though.

Spamming repeatedly to get vg$ is still spamming, and still against the rules.  I have no reservations about temp banning people for posting 4 times in a row instead of editing posts in order to increase their vg$.  When you are banned for 3 days that will be 3 days you won't be making money, so don't do it.  

So this encourages more posting? Expect an increase in troll posts :-/. I like the concept though.

 The trick is going to be keeping the totals low. We start with 1k, and get 1 dollar per post; technically you coudl spam, but you'd have to go buck wild to really make a good killing that way. And as Naz has already pointed out, you'd get banned in a hurry. 

Hopefully banning loses $!
