I just got me 3DS and I have a few doubts 'cause I havent been that much in touch lately....

Are the games on the Virtual console in 3D?

Can you play Demos on it?

Is it true that Kid Icarus (Virtual console) will be free if you register 2 games (Zelda, Mario, mario kart....) in January (read it in a Spanish website) ?

There are som games in the eshop that are in 3D but many more that aren't. For instance all the DSiWare games are available but they aren't in 3D.

To be honest I haven't looked for demos so I'm not sure if any are available.

I did read somewhere about the original Kid Icarus being available free if you are a Club Nintendo member and register a couple of eligible games by a certain date. In Canada that was not available last time I checked. Not sure about other places

Like mothman said, most virtual game console games are not in 3D. The ones that are are called 3D classics.
No you cannot play demos yet ( Unless you live in Japan, I believe). Demos are promised for all regions, but most of the world hasn't gotten them yet. And for the last question, I believe that promotion has only been confirmed for Europe. No word yet whether other regions will get it. I believe all of this info is accurate lol but you never know .

Many old classics games are being remade in 3D, such as Zelda Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, and Tales of the Abyss. Definetly check them out! Also check out the 2012 list of games, you'll want to keep up to date on what games are coming such as Kid Icarus Uprising, Resident Evil Revelations, and Metal Gear Solid 3.

Reasonably priced games? You know 3DS games are over $60 a pop in the UK right? :p Think I'd rather have $39.99 MSRP than get a free 3D Classics Remake ;)
