Limbo Follow-Up Detailed, Concept Art Revealed

Details and a piece of concept art for Playdead’s follow-up to Limbo has emerged.

The info comes from the Danish Film Institute’s website, in a list of projects supported by the institution. At the moment it’s merely called “Project 2” and the DFI are contributing $1,000,000 to its creation.

Translated from Danish, the description of the game says, “Through unique puzzles and changing scenarios narrated the story of one boy’s struggle against evil forces through questionable experiments on human bodies, trying to take over the world.”

Apparently, despite the monochrome image below, the game is in colour. It’s a 2D platformer set in a 3D environment.

Sounds like a mature follow up to heart of darkness. Could be good. Hopefully it will be a lot longer then Limbo.

This is why Trials Evolution is one fo the best games this gen. If you don't have this game already, do yourself a favor and buy it.

Still waiting for Sega to announce the release date for Jet Set (Grind) Radio all I know it should come out some time before Sonic Adventures 2 comes out on October the 3rd. I would also like to know about their plans for after that are we going to get Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue 1&2.

Deadlight disapointed somewhat, but its in the 70's which is still a nice addition regardless. Hopefully Hybrid gets in the 70's or higher as well.

If you didn't knew it yet Sega will come with Toejam and Earl for XBLA...  Possible a three pack with two Toejam and Earl games not sure what the thrird will be yet.
