We can rule out crash or shot down as that clearly did not happen though being a glider it might have glided down and damaged the underbelly hence the Iranians only showing the top half. We know US military suppliers have come under cyber attack before and possible key logs planted by a state actor which could have undermined the encryption data. The Russians recently sold the Iranians mobile radar radiation detectors which might have helped the Iranians track down the drone. Militarily the US is not in the Chinese or Russian good books due to the US increasing it's Military potential close to them so it's likely they are providing the Iranians with some covert assistance. Maybe not directly but via North Korea and Syria.


the UAV is actually designed to land itself if it loses contact(ideally back at its point of origin which clearly didnt happen)

All this America hate is great.

Yes "suprisingly" America is spying on Iran. How is that any different then Russia hacking the USA powergrid in order to have the ability to shut it down at any moment and starting a war just as illegal as the Iraqi one, or China hacking every single US satellite and military facility, or France and the UK initiating the invasion of Libya to secure their oil deposits, or Japan launching a spy satellite who's only purpose can be to perform illegal activities, or Isreal's mass assassinations of basically anyone who disagreed with them, or Pakistan hiding Osama Bin Laden and mastermining terrorist attacks on India, or Iran funding and helping Iraqi insurgents to destabilize the elected iraqi government.

There is no government of a major country that follows all "international laws"

America may be no worse than them, and in fact, gives out way more help and support to other nations than any other nation in the world, but USA is the biggest power and other nations are extremely jealous of it. Their jealousy breeds hate, and that hate breeds snarky attitudes towards anything the USA does, and that snarky attiude breeds the dark side! or something..

 

But yeah I definitely find the USA hate to be silly.

I see the US as the Microsoft of the world, everyone hates them though most people don't even know why. They ignore the good they do and focus only on the bad. It's what happens when your always in the spotlight
