Who do you want as the next USA president?

Barack Obama 120 43.17%

Newt Gingrich 18 6.47%

Ron Paul 78 28.06%

Mitt Romney 10 3.60%

Rick Perry 10 3.60%

Gary Johnson 3 1.08%

Rick Santorum 0 0%

Michelle Bachman 8 2.88%

Other,Please mention 31 11.15%

Total:278

The primaries are about to begin.

The next US president will have a very vital role to play in the world which is going through financial turmoil and other problems which are getting terrible day by day.

Here are the front runners from both the parties:

Newt Gingrich

Ron Paul

Mitt Romney

Barack Obama

The world is facing alot of problems which are getting even more terrible, here the main ones:

US debt problems

Europe debt problems

Iran nuclear program

Arab spring

Occupy World Movements

Here is what i think:

Euro will collapse in mid-2012

US dollar will soon follow the euro but the time is uncertain.

Now if Occupy movements in Europe and USA are successful then we are we are saved.

If not then,Sanctions and other intimidation from the west on iran will force iran to take some action which will cause WW3.

Russia,China,pakistan,Iran,etc vs US,Israel,UK,Germany,France,etc

Now I support RON PAUL.

if he wins,we are absolutely saved from the war as USA is key to a war in Iran and if he wins,he won't let USA enter a war atleast for any other country but for the defense of USA at its borders

Even if he doesn't win,i think that a war will be started but people will revolt the hell out and it will be stopped.

So post your selection from the lot as who you want to see as the next US president.

Please mention your pick and why you picked them

Theodore Roosevelt.

Love and tolerate.

Obama

Barring a latecomer like Chris Christie, I'm rooting for Obama. Looking at the field I have the sense that we are thoroughly fucked no matter what, and I derive a perverse satisfaction from watching this overhyped debutant flail around and the media falling all over itself to cover for him when they would have crucified Bush for doing the same thing. And who knows? Maybe eight years of Obama will bury Keynesian economics in the U.S. once and for all. (Then again, it might just bury the U.S. once and for all.)

Because "The Bush" destroyed my life (along with many other Americans and others around the world, and now I will only vote Democratic.

This guy did more for America than "The Bush" will ever be able to. I will not come back to this thread. Good luck upcoming Presidents!

how did bush destoy your life?

are you saying you believe in the democratic party vs republic party fight and choose sides?

just saying, they both are the same.wasting war money, bailing out banks, etc.

I'll go with Chuck Norris. However, if he is unavailable I'll choose Ron Paul.

I would like to see Ron Paul win. I'm torn on some of his ideas, though. I love that he'd love to end the wars, he's pro-life but would leave it up to the states, and pretty much cut spending like none other, but I don't like the idea of legalizing almost every drug and abandoning Israel (I know this is controversial but it just what I believe).

As Salnax posted, we need a Theodore Roosevelt! We need someone big and brave enough to stand up to big business and the robber barons. As reported, firepeople, at a fire, sit and watch a building burn because they thought the household hadn't paid some extra fee. Again, as in T.Roosevelt's time it's proof that we don't want a PURE librarian society. Can you imagine if every few miles was a toll road? And you had to stop, pay some troll and you would never know how much it would cost to go anywhere.? The government does actually do a few jobs fairly well, like police, fire, roads, etc.

So if we can't have him, I'd go for Hillary Clinton. With maybe Ron Paul as the vice. Paul get so many things right then blows it with abortion. As a medical doctor you would think he would know we need the government out of our bodies and our bedrooms.

Third, I say stick with Obama. It's not my favorite, but if you look at the idiotic ruthlessness of the Republican party. How in the world would a frontrunner like Perry think it's appropriate to attack homosexual war heroes and forget separation of Church and Religion is founding principal of this country? And Bachman is even worse. Just done with Republicans. (Sadly, they forget they ended that vile period where slavery was legal.)

I would think the Republicans would lead with universal heath care as important, being an interpretable part of the constitution ("Provide for the common deference, promote the General Walefare.") When people are making money of denying others health care I have a problem with that.

I don't see how anything will happen that we will not have Obama in 2013.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

My presidential qualification needs:

1) Unqualified

2) Myopic

3) Possibly racist
