why is UNC3 being brought up?
since it was brought up i will go on record and say that i was also disappointed with both UC 2 and 3s campaign but love UC2 MP cant say anything good bout 3, the facts are there. some of the MP maps are recycled from U2, MP graphics are inferior to UC2 MP, game has more glitches than 2, and on a personal note the campaign gameplay has even moved further away to what was brought to us in DF in terms of the difficulty and the gunplay, i also dont like the cartoony or artwork as ya'll call it in the UC games everything but the characters are unrealistic looking
i think we need to to put that all behind us now, i wish ND and there UC IP well for next gen, now we need to focus on this delivering
my concerns are
the little girl following you around, i dont want this to be another RE5 and i also think her character will interfere with the game's mature cinematic scenes. im also hoping for a M rating but knowing ND i see no chance of that, i feel that T rated games that could be M rated dont farewell for the market especially US where PS needs it most, games like alan wake and even uncharted i feel could of achieved much more if M rated. im not talking bout gore but about cinematic themes and story telling
i would like it to be 3rd person but feel that it may be FP by the ending of that trailer
will this release this gen? wheres agent, 7 days, syphon filter, getaway ect. those trailers/news also looked great but where are they? if releases next year or has a solid release date for 2013 then ill be impressed with ND as devs
could be another dead island deal epic trailer but completely different end result
was impressed by the seriousness, environments and overall realistic feel, these are the exclusive type of games PS3 needs to compete with MS's X-box in US
over all im somewhat impressed if i wasnt i wouldnt be posting here im impressed b/c i was in no way foreseeing it to be from ND or involving zombies, i feel that the majority feel that there overdone but i think not especially this b/c it could be huge b/c ND is behind it. the past few zombie games havent been SP campaign serious, L4D was more MP, dead rising was humor and forgettable story, dead island was pathetic imo, searching around for someones teddy bear or necklace in the middle of a zombie out break? you do the math. from the trailer it looks like its a more serious mature zombie game kinda like the tv show walking dead which i also enjoy then all the above mentioned and maybe even all time barring the original REs games
