Square is fucking kidding me. (finished the Story)

Will write a short review later, too. Score will be above 80%, though i wont give a precise number, those kinda ruin review's.

 

edit: the credits roll now... did anyone notice that tri-ace was involved somehow? (cant imagine why they should be credited otherwise.)



I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

i agree, totally.

I mean, for the first time ever in both games combined, i wanted to see what will be happening with Lightning next... i mean, they've made the last seconds a part where everyone could start dreaming about what will happen next, the open ending was awesome all by itself... but the "To be Continued" ruined alot. And yes, i'd blindly buy a XIII-3 now, but i doubt that there will be one..

In my Opinion, XIII-2 was far superior. i mean, it wasnt Game of the Decade or something, but it left an impression. STILL, i can somewhat agree with Runa's Score on VGC, because XIII-2 could have been much, much more. But then again, every Game could have been better. even the best of the best.

i did look at it already, once mine is done (it'll be a short one, i am not good with writing bigger chunks of text in engurish. =)), lets compare and discuss opinions like there is no tomorrow!

Just wrote a german review (http://forum.videogameszone.de/playstation-3/9105140-final-fantasy-xiii-2-a-11.html) , the short version for VGC will follow soon, but i am quite tired and would like to sleep now, lol. =)

Grades given:

Story: A-
Storytelling and Structure: B-
Technical Presentation: A
Gameplay: A-
Value: B+

Fun overall: A-

Pro's:

- Cool Antagonist
- Variety
- Superb Graphics and Soundtrack
- Very Interresting Story...

Con's:

-...That suffer's from sometimes subpar telling
- game gets incredibly easy later on (for the most part)
- The Game tells you that wou will not be able to do certain things without paying additional Money (saying that there is a card game at first, and then throwing an "will be coming via DLC" is just terribly teasing)
