If you are wondering whether Microsoft’s flagship console is still conquering the U.S. market, then you should not be worried as the infamous Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter said that the Xbox 360 topped November’s sales but globally it’s still up to everyone’s bet.
Reporting to investors today, Pachter mentioned that Xbox 360 sales crossed 1.44 million units in November, making it a 5 percent gain over the same period last year. Microsoft, in contrast, has easily beat both it’s rivals the Wii and PS3, which saw unit sales hit 1.05 million and 750,000 units, respectively. Wii sales were negative to 17 percent year over year, but Sony’s main console were up a whopping 41 percent, Pachter wrote.
Microsoft’s triumph in United States last month was specifically thrown during the week of Black Friday. The successful software firm said last week that it sold 960,000 Xbox 360 units and 750,000 Kinect sensors during that week alone. It was the biggest week in the Xbox 360′s history.
However, whether or not the console is the king of the world is still remains to be seen as there are a lot of interest for the PlayStation 3 in Europe and Asia which emerges as the rising market to the gaming industry.
