I never use these Nintendo coins (because i don't live in the US, and i don't really give a damn about Mario figures and hats and other sovenier junk that you can get on a local shop) and i have too many of them , so this might be finally something that is going to be a use for them.

we don't get those in sweden so thats not fair!!

About time they offer some worthwhile rewards, im definitely getting super mario kart.

Super Mario Kart is as good as mine! Heck yah, though I wish we got some stuff like NOE or Japan. I remember seeing a Legend of Zelda statue a while back and my jaw dropped I wanted it so bad but it was a European item and I couldn't get it in NA. Personally I love the free stuff I have gotten so far, the hat and the Mario statue but nothing that is available for points is really worth buying. I finally had to use some points so I bought Game&Watch. Hopefully in the future Nintendo will come up with some far better promotional items.

Maybe a Silver plated statue of metal Mario, that would be so sweet. Or maybe An exclusive controller sorta like the ones Japan got. or maybe an exclusive game, like maybe Last Story and the rest of NA and NOE don't get it you can only get it with points.

Nintendo give us something of value, not more shoe laces and cards. Give us something that is actually special something that will have sentimental value as well as collectors value ten years from now. Something we would be proud to have on our shelf for everyone to see.

Please Nintendo actually give us something worth the points, yes each year we get a pretty cool platinum prize but why can't we buy similar prizes year round? Actually by giving gamers a huge incentive like that Zelda statue was in Europe or maybe Last Story exclusively on Club Nintendo. Maybe you would see more gamers purchasing Nintendo games. I mean if you were torn between Skyrim or Zelda but you knew if you got Zelda you were a step closer to a kick ass prize, you'd likely choose Zelda.

This could definitly boost sales and moral amongst Nintendo fans!

Man, I have so much Nintendo merch that it's crazy. Never felt the need to "join the club" until now. Gonna do it when I get home tonight!

i want all this in UK!"

Switch!!!

Let's try to get the exchange rate if we can. For the Wii it is exactly 1-8 the coins to points conversion but the handheld is lower at 1-6 for thre 3D Classic and even lower for the Minis March DSiWare at 1-5.3 . Meanwhile in Europe we've had a similar reward of converting our stars into points witha 4-1 rate.

Since the comparison can only be done in the Wii. I think America gets 50 coins each Wii game and Europe gets 250 stars which gives a total conversion of 400 and 62.5 wii points per game respectively.

I guess the difference is having an option with what you can buy while the American counterpart is limited to the titles they offer. Nevertheless the new American rewards are really cheap, congrats guys, a few years late but worth the wait. Get Fluidity if you haven't yet - it's awesome!
