It seems like a lifetime, but ioi's account was created five years ago on November 27th 2006 (which is technically five years ago last week, but I didn't see any thread to celebrate)! This site has been my daily internet fix for at least three years and I know for many others too, so I think a party thread is well deserved.

Post good and bad memories, discussions, newsitems, users and whatnot in this thread so we can have a trip through VGC memory lane before we will, hopefully soon, move to a new VGC.

Also Brett, many thanks for creating this site, congratulations on the fifth birthday of your lovechild! That it may have many more years to come!

I hear they're releasing ioi Anniversary Edition, and the plan was to remake the game and make it even more awesome, but then they realized they couldn't improve upon perfection, so they're just re-releasing it. Still the best looking game around too!
