That would suck since I have 3 accounts for NA, JPN, and TWN =/ and I was thinking about buying this a few years down the road, they better have patched that by the time I might buy one or it's prolly a no go period.

their memory card will cost a lot of money if you want something that's reasonable though, I'd just say don't buy on day 1 and see what they do with it, a 32GB card will run you 120USD so if you want the best storage option that's not a measly 4GB at 25USD(wtf.....) you are looking at 370USD, and yes, the memory card is required for the system to function properly from what we have gathererd so far.

More and more locking things down. As the end user, I feel more screwed every year.

Yes.. that would be the icing on the cake on their "Copy Nintendo" strategy... look at how much bad press the 3DS got and how much it's selling now... I mean Sony are building up a much larger pile of bad press... absolutely briljant from Sony!!

so basically now we have to format system setting in stead of activating like PSP when we wanna switch to different account, ok got it... xD
i prefer this than activating cause i always worry does activate have counted limit... so it's a good news to me... ^^
but of cause if able to have multiple account saved will be best... ^^

This doesn't effect me much personally, but I can understand why this would be very disappointing for somebody from a region that doesn't get access to a decent number of games or services.

It means the device is really only region free for physical games.

Actually, this probably will effect me. If they make a Torostation app for PSV like they have for PS3, I won't be able to access it. Sucks. =(
