Forums - Gaming Discussion - Gaming frustrations ...

I was also frustrated at the end of COD4 - when your captain slide you a pistol. It took me about 5-6 tries. But doggone, I love the game.

@ Blaiyan

I hate shooting out lights and junk. I also hated the intro mission where you can't touch the street. Silly rules.

I also hate accessing the locked regions in GTA and drawing tons of cops, and even the pay-in-sprays won't work.

The helicopter mission in CoD4

I thought the club scene in K&L was a piece of p*ss, but stopping the dump truck was annoying as it was a matter of trial and error, and every time you screwed it up you were forced to watch the same cut-scene again and again.

Having to eat in GTA: SA never bothered me 'cos you didn't have to do it very often and the guy that served you in the Cluckin' Bell was frickin' hilarious ("The chewy bits aren't harmful, sir.") The remote-control missions in GTA: VC on the othe hand... grrr.

Many of my biggest gaming frustrations came from the unruly camera and sloppy controls of EVERY SINGLE early 3rd-person 3D game (Tomb Raider, SM64 etc.) until Ocarina implemented the 'forward look' as the function of the Z button.

My biggest frustrations this gen have come from context-sensitive buttons as used in Stranglehold and Gears of War (sometimes I just wanna run past a wall, not stick to the f***in' thing!!!)

Merlee's Mansion in Super Paper Mario (I didn't have a good way to weigh down the controller).

1' obstacles that prevent your character from entering somewhere because he can't jump... Fetching a laddle for an old woman in an RPG, which entails killing a slew of trolls, five giants and a dragon. The reward is 100 gold and a wrinkly smile.

1. The club scene in Kane & Lynch. You have to exit the club with the club's owner and cover Lynch. My heavens - I can't tell you how frustrated I was after doing that level tons of times. I wish Lynch, who enjoys shooting folks, had a pistol and could help me out and shoot folks.

I hated that myself. It was very frustrating. Especially when the game ended cause stupid Lynch died. I did it like 10 or 11 times before finally completing it.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is frustrating too. Have you ever gotten half way through a level and die only to have to start from the beginning again? The checkpoints in the game are great but there should be more of them.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

Online IDs: PSN: computermaximus, XBL: computermaximus

Oh, and forgot my biggest gaming frustration: fetch quests

I hate useless fetch quests that are only there to draw the length of the game out. I can barely tolerate them in the beginning of the game when used for tutorial purposes, but when it's the middle of the game and only serves as a reason to explore and draw out the game it just pisses me off.

Bioshock was the worst game in recent memory about this. I hated the fucking pointless fetch quests in that game.

@ madskillz

Same here. I don't even really like stealth missions so it was a challenge. I remember a part where I have to sneak behind some truck to get in a gated area. I shoot out the lights and take out guards to be find out by some dog. Most of the time it's really tedious and annoying.

Kratos in GoDII

==> in this episode, Kratos has no reason to fight
he is just a bad guy that should be ass kicked by Zeus.
He deserved it ...

GoDI and GoDII

==> the sex scene
the guy that decided to put these scenes in the game is an asshole

Bahahahahahahaha I feel you man!!! Too often does this happen, you travel back thinking ~Oh boy I'm gonna be so cashed up with whatever juicy reward I get for doing all this and all you get is junk~

Another example, Twilight Princess, completing a hidden mini dungeon, you approach the chest, your hands sweat with anticipation for your 5th heartpiece, Bam! It's just more Rupee's you probably can't even hold!
