Not familiar with the characters myself, but can tell how popular they are from where I work. Have had several kids come in to view them to pick the ones they don't have. Along with Moshi Monsters they are definitely one of the top toys this Christmas season.

Yeah, these things are sold out in every Walmart and Target I go to.

Man I wrote a thread on Bobby talking about how amazing Skylanders was doing like last month. I went to look for it and couldn't find my old threads through Google. Though I did find out other sites are using my VGChartz threads, sorta weird I've gotta look for JoelCool7 more I already found another few sites referencing my threads. At least I am getting credit for them.

Your guess is as good as mine, all I know is along with Skylanders they have been one of the most popular children toys that my store has been selling. When in doubt try Wikipedia.

What I do know is they also have a game out (on the DS), it is fairly high up on the UK chart on the site with good looking sales figures for that sort of game.
