I'm a bit of the M$ side of things and lately I've been considering, as the generation comes to a close within a year or 2, picking up both the Wii and PS3 for their exclusives, would you do the same?

Yes, Started with a 360 and didn't care about Wii or PS3 (hated ps3 until 2009).

Nope. I'm a Ninty fan but I haven't had nearly enough time to play all my DS or my Wii games.

Most of my time is still spent playing my PC (and occasionally my N64).


There is no way I could justify buying another console considering I've still got so much to play on my current ones - as such it's unlikely I'll buy a 3DS or a Wii-U either.

^ this, i am sort of a PS3 dude, but beeing able to play skyward sword (getting it for christmas, and i am excited ^_^) and some of the unique games for 360 (Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, Mass Effect 1 and more) is a great thing.

Well some call me a fanboy but I already own all five platforms. I intend to pick up WiiU next winter and the next Xbox as soon as I can afford it. However I may skip Sony next generation , Vita is a slight possibility and PS4 is too, but not likely to be picked up early in the generation. Probably towards the end or if enough great games come that I feel I must own!

No, I dont thinks so. I borrowed a 360 from a friend to play bayonetta & devil may cry 4 and thats it. Uncharted, killzone, gears, god of war, GT... those are all good games I agree, but just not my type of games.

I long since discovered that most of the games I enjoy the most are nintendo games (like when I discovered that Golden Sun was a first party game. I had always thought it was third party). But I've always wanted both a 360 and a PS3. I will get a 360 (with Kinect) next year. As for the PS3, I may not get it if the Vita can play most of the PS3 games I want.

yes, i'm a huge nintendo fanboy, and i'm planning to get an X360 this christmas to play a couple of games that weren't put on wii (mainly niche japanese games). i might also get a Ps3 next year, but it depends on when Wii U launches and if i have some money left (off course i'm goin to buy every Nintendo console D1)
