I am in the Intro 31 15.42%

I just beat the 1st dungeon 27 13.43%

I am like in the middle 26 12.94%

I am not that far from being finished 22 10.95%

I am done 50 24.88%

I have no idea how far I am 23 11.44%

Neutral 22 10.95%

Total:201

might as well add me to that list, finished it a few weeks ago, 3rd favorite Zelda after Majora's mask and OOT.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

Around the Network

I only have to beat the last two bosses in hero mode for a total of 95 hours (yes, I'm too slow!) The boss rush in hero mode is too hard for me, but I need the hylian shield. Gasp, I guess I have to beat the game with my (loosy) goddess shield.

I picked the game back up a couple of days ago. I took a break after the forest temple (Dark souls took all my time) I'm in the earth temple now. Got stuck briefly since I forgot about the remote controlled beetle, doh.

I'm still getting used to the motion controls and the camera. Directional slashes and stabs only correspond with my movements about half of the time. Which doesn't matter for most enemies except the annoying harder enemies in the earth temple. I'm trying to circle around them while locked on and time strikes like in Dark souls, but that's not working very well in SS. Lock keeps disengaging and Link runs away with his back turned instead of strafing. (Maybe I need to press another button to strafe?)

Btw where/when can I get a shield that lasts longer then 5 minutes?

Controls can be finicky... you'll get used to it.

Staying locked on is part holding button and part staying close.

Strafing is being locked on, pressing a direction (L,R,Back,Forward) and 'A'. Very useful.

Whenever possible buy the better shield and then upgrade. I Also carry both a red potion and the purple shield potion upgraded so it fixes my shield and gives me hearts.

Thanks, I forgot about the A button to strafe too, disadvantage of not playing for a month. Fi reminds you of everything but how to play.

Oh.  Fuck.  I just got the song from the desert dragon!  I haven't gone to the woods or the fire, yet.  And then there's some other thing!?! And another!?  Some of these missions, while still very good, feel like $10 DLC from an HD game--just tacked on for people that enjoy the game.  Oh well--To the woods, Batman!

One thing, though. When I go to the woods, it says there's a strange phenomenon and I can't go anywhere except the temple.  If this is the glitch you are talking about, I will sell my Wii TODAY!

You must have gotten past this part, by now. The woods, I mean. What did you think? Was shit not incredibly real!?

(the reason you can only go to the temple is the best part of getting that song piece)

It was indeed awesome.  I kept missing it because I would either land outside and go inside and back the way I came.  Instead, I had to go from the back door of the temple and out the front door to trigger the awesomeness!

I have one last trial and I guess one final dungeon and this game is over!

The fire dragon's trial is actually the coolest one, for a few reasons. Very well-constructed. But man, let me tell you.

THat dungeon afterward?

When you realize what it is that you're doing, the you of thirteen years ago is going to break down and cry tears of nostalgia

Yeah, I'd also like a PM on this too... not sure what is nostalgic after the song of heros quest. But, yes the rest of the challenges are really good. I did love the last temple.

Hm, I have no idea what you are talking about. Send me a PM to avoid spoilers for Zapp.

I guess he's talking about what's inside the last dungeon, I guess Resident evil killed your noltalgia.

I'm done with it. This was my first Zelda I bought and finished. Overall disappointing though...

+ Great battle system
+ Great tools
+ Puzzles
+ Level Design

- Worst first 2 hours of this Gen, really
- Fi
- Boss & Level recycling -> too long
- Story and characters - they're not cute but you can't take them seriously either
- Some REALLY old gameplay mechanics

Score 7/10

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

It's 5:14am. Gamestop opens in about five hours. It's now or never. Time to put this game to bed.

*cracks knuckles*

*puts on shades*

*turns on Wii*

Oh yeah. It's game time.
