Forums - Gaming Discussion - why do people like to hate on the call of duty modern warfare games?

I don't understand why people like to hate on the call of duty modern warefare games. The multiplayer is really fun and has alot of great things 2 it. People always argue that it's more of the same. To those people,I say so what. Why would they drastically change what works so well. that's doesn't make any sense. as long as people keep buying it,there going to keep making these games. The series has only increased in sales,so that tells me people like more of the same, and I don't see anything wrong with that. If you don't like the games, that's fine, but don't hate on the millions of other people that love and admire the series.

everything you've listed is the reason why other then the first MW the franchise sucks.

C'mon man. You know it's our nature to kill that which we created. We made Michael Jackson and then we tried to tear him down. We made Lady Gaga and we tear her down. We made Nintendo and the Wii and we're tearing them down. Same goes for the Playstation, Obama, Beyonce, and Seth Rogan movies.

We love a winner--until the start winning a little too much.....then we turn on them.

Pretty much this.

Also I'm starting to notice people are turning on Assassins Creed now that they are starting to come out one right after another.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Because it's popular.

I trust no one, not even myself.

People hate them because the games are created for online play with little single player content. The haters fear that due to the poularity of these games, other developers will follow suit and create games focused on online play and less focus on single player.

Even though I am not a big fan of the games, I don't think there is anything to worry about. Look at Skyrim lots of content and is selling great.

You answered your own question because they are haters.
