Revenge of Shinobi elements?

Fantastic........ Revenge of Shinobi is still one of my fave games of all time.

I'm getting a 3DS around the time that Resi Evil Revelations comes out, and now Shinobi is defo going to be a purchase aswell.

if you've been following it since its Arcade days, Tecmo saw the great love for ninja games, Sega with shinobi and Capcom with Strider, only Strider was original, and did something new to the gameplay and style (Strider Hiryu is badass) , but Ninja Gaiden was the same exact thing as Shinobi. Tecmo just wanted to profit on the market, the same thing they did with Quantum Theory and Gears Of War.

For me, Shinobi 3DS is really good but I've never play the genesis games...

It's a perfect oldschool game with challenge and graphics are good (just 1 or 2 levels a little poor). 3D is one of the better on 3DS without headache problems. One of my favorite games on 3DS...

yeah i know, but i was saying strider was more original.

After some playing, this game is as oldschool as it gets.
Cheap enemies position that give you a great disadvantage, etc.
It's beating me up good even on EASY :/
I prefer to turn 3D off so far since playing it on the train is shaky.
The graphics style is pleasant to look at.

ah I see, I don't really know if ninja gaiden is that close to shinobi, I likes'em both equally... unless your talking about ninja gaiden arcade which is a fairly generic beatem up with loads of Jason Vorhees clones for some reason

can we atleast agree that 1. Shinobi 3 is among the best games of the 16 bit era and 2, it's going to be sweet taking a beating from this game
