Looks like it could do spectacularly well given all of that.

In EMEAA I don't see massive numbers at all, maybe good in the UK as we love Halo here, but EMEAA isn't getting anywhere near the same deal as Americas are getting. That $40 will do wonders there though, that and it comes out a week before Black Friday

And keep in mind that what we see here is only a fraction of SWTOR future numbers - the main distribution method is digital, and the game will do great in Europe(at least as big as USA numbers). That game is going to be HUGE, no doubt the second biggest game of the year after MW3 360.

Good to see RE: Revelations and Sonic Generations (3DS) on there. The system is definitely heating up with some fantastic releases.

Also... 1 million opening for Zelda in the Americas? It could definitely happen. Glad to hear it!

Halo is the biggest IP but Gears 3 was the biggest 360 exclusive this year. Why dont you compare that to these 2 games

lol no. I referred to Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 as 360s and PS3s biggest exclusives. I implied it was for the year but I guess I wasn't clear on that.

What you have done is go one step lower going from biggest exclusive to biggest exclusive of the year to biggest exclusive of the holiday season :)

Because Gears isn't on the charts, you should know that.

Well then look up its final preorder count from the past and compare and contrast....after all you made a typo referring to a Halo remake as the 360s biggest exclusive when its clearly Gears 3 :P

But on topic what you see as interesting I see as embarrassing. Funny how developers have to spend such time and money to make a groundbreaking new game like those 2.......only to have a 10 year old polished remake have almost as much people caring about it. Thats what I see.

Doesn't matter since the biggest games always come out in the holiday season

Yes and no. Gears 3 is a clear example but every year high profile games release in a non holiday period, like GTA4.

So you are saying halo is the same old game which sells loads and other devs work harder on their projects compared to 343....gotcha.
