Nintendo is fundamentally at odds with the PC game developer mentality, and they should stay that way

Great answer, you really pwned him. I could say the same thing about 360 fanbows, PS3 fanboys, Nintendo fanboys (or Wii or whatever) but that doesn't make it so.

You can say they are just as bad them but using different attributes. Console fanboys are nowhere near as arrogant and elitist as pc fanboys

I would fully support Hard Reset being on consoles. However, in the spirit of this thread I am not sure what current console versions would add to make it better than it currently is on the PC.

Would love to See Uncharted 3, Dark Souls, and most of all Red Dead Redemption. Still Surprised Red dead has not made it to pc.

The whole point of 1st party exclusives is to get consumers to buy the machine that they are on so they can reap the benefits of license deals with 3rd party publishers. PC devs don't have to pay MS to release PC games unless they buy tech directly from MS. Besides, if everything was multiplatform, then the market would devolve into a single platform and that would suck. Only PC fanboy elitists want a PC only world. I'd rather there be more competition than less. I want Sega back, and Atari. I'd buy it all and enjoy the best of all sides. But even as convenient as having them all on PC would be, I can think of nothing worse for the industry than homogenization.


Hey, I know. Let's list the PC exclusives we want on Xbox 360. How about Hard Reset? Console fans would eat that game up and make it so much more popular. Or how about S.T.A.L.K.E.R.? It's just screaming for a console port and full Xbox Live support.

Oh wait I forgot, in this thread we only care about exclusives getting ported to PC, not the other way around.


You should make a thread about PC xclusive games that should come to consoles, I know quite a few that would work really well. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is not one of them tho that game wouldn't be very good on console without mods and with limited patching not to mention the engine just wouldn't work with limited RAM, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is coming to consoles tho, and I don't know what advantage XBL would have for it no one likes the game for it's multiplayer.

Every 360 Halo game. All are sub HD but do feature some great textures and large play areas. Playing them on PC with 1080p visuals, rock solid 60hz and some proper 4+ x MSAA would really lift the look of the game.
