A Glitch, this is not. A major fuck up, this is.

It is a major fuck up, but they have a track record of releasing incomplete games, so this isn't surprising.

Well yeah it is. I have it downloaded to my 360 and haven't seen anything unusual like that so I think they fixed it.
Although when I first loaded it up it froze in the middle of the first cutscene >_>

Alhough I do not condone releasing a game in a bad state, I think what Bethesda aim for each game makes bug testing a nightmare.
Games like Gears Of War or Uncharted for example are set to a path and not that big a path either. You cant interact with every object and thre is probably 98% less objects in those games.
It must be a nightmare bug testing what happens when you pphysically move every object in the game. Or what happens when you move every object in the game to a different location. The variables on testing in an TES game must be mental.

I am not talking about Glitches in these types of games. I agree there is basically no way Bug Testing the entire game. The issue is how a fundamental feature that is part of the Xbox 360 does not work. Installation should have been tested and re-tested long before the game came out of Beta. Is it good they are fixing this? Yes. Should this have happened in the first place? No.

This is why it is a good thing that Skyrim gets GotY level scores. That will totally teach Bethesda to not release broken games! |
Similar levels of professionalism among the "critics" and the developers I suppose.
I don't know what some of you guys are talking about. This thread never escaladed to the mindless bickering that graphics comparison usually do. For the most part, the posters in this thread have been mature, cool-headed, and fairly informative. (informative to multi-console owners on which version of Skyrim they should purchase). I understand the kind of immaturity these threads usually promote, but it hasn't happened in this thread (yet). The majority of immaturity I've seen in this thread so far is you guys being unnecessarily dismissive to an otherwise fairly peaceful and reasonable thread. Some of you guys need to calm down & stop jumping the gun.
OT: Nice job Bethesda! X360 version still looks better, but I was expecting a Oblivion / Fallout 3 discrepancy. With the amount of praise this game has received, I may buy it before the GOTY-Edition.
anyone have performance problem(PC ver)of this game

Haven't suffered it yet, then again i'm barely off the initial dungeon and I'm just taking my first steps on Skyrim's main map. I'm at Ultra definition, V-Sync on and 2x AA, 16x AF, framerate between 40-45

So far, I haven't seen anything that's isn't better, graphically, than Oblivion. Then again, i'm playing the PC version on Ultra so that's maybe why i'm noticing such a big difference (I have both Skyrim and Oblivion with Qarl's Texture Pack and enhanced environments and lightning mods).
