But why? Why does Switzerland get it this week while its neighbours do not? I've seen differences between UK and mainland Europe release dates (Tales of the Abyss apparently is out today in the UK, November 25 in the rest of Europe), but never something like this.

Anyway, yes. This version of Skyward Sword plays in English with all PAL Wiis, provided you choose the correct setting.

They're breaking street date. The release date was the 18th originally.

Well, obviously they are breaking the street date. That's absolutely common. I order most of my games from an online shop that sends out copies as soon as they get them in. They usually get their copies two to three days before the official release date, because the Austrian partner of NIntendo doesn't ship them earlier.

The question really is why does Nintendo's Swiss partner send out the copies a whole week in advance to retailers.

To stack them up to big mountains of joyful, gorgeous gameplay goodness.

What of you? Switzerland can't be more than, what, a 5 hour drive from wherever you live?

Would it be worth it?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

They get a cut of the extortionate prices.
