Sledgehammer Games' Glen Schofield has taken to Twitter to ask Call of Duty fans to support Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3on Metacritic. 

"I don't usually do this but, if u like MW3 go 2 Metacritic.com & help our user score," writes Schofield. "It's suspiciously low. Be honest but help if u agree." 

Modern Warfare 3 is attracting a torrent of user scores of zero across all three platforms. The current user score (out of 10) is 2.7 on Xbox 360, 2.0 on PS3 and 1.5 on PC.

exactly why should he care about a couple user reviews when the game has already sold millions on it's first day....If I was him I'd go to metacritic and say haters gonna hate, make a youtube video of myself burning money while say" U MAD???...then again, that's just me

I'd give MW3 an 8 but to lazy to go over there...

It's the same game only with a different map and the same engine from MW2. I think it deserves the score it is getting.

lmao this is hilarious, You dont deserve that low of a score but you dont deserve a particularly high one either.

Why do they care? It's got good reviews where it matters and it's broken multiple records on it's launch week.

I feel conflicted. I love Glen Schofield because he was one of the big brains behind Dead Space 1, but I really don't have any respect for MW3. I guess I'll do what I have been doing for some time, just ignore the users' metascores.

Despite him saying be honest. he really wants you to do what the 0/10 Trolls have been doing, to do that and bring it up to about an 8 you need 5 scores of 10/10 for every 0/10 , so instead of playing their game he should just bask in the knowledge that this just shows what tall poppy's they have become.

Even with that(and that's not entirely true, I like the idea of new modes like Confirm Kill), it still doesn't deserve those ridiculously low user scores. I mean ,would you give even a good remake that kind of score?

What about the Wii score?

It's the same as giving a lateish port a bad score just because it was late, could be from a fantastic game but because it's late 1/10. :P

Also, to Christian, the engine has been upgraded, they told us this but developing a new enginge from scratch is time consuming and expensive, why not stick with an engine that works and has produced 3 good games, instead of producing a new engine which might not? Just because Dice did it, doesn't mean everyone should do it.
