Ps3 did awesome, seems battle for 2nd place is a close one, although it's a tie more or less

3DS did great, and Mario's not even here yet, 2 weeks away!

Wii is increasing for a final double boost, building up for Zelda in 2 weeks and holidays boost, but i have to say the Wii had only a few games this year, compared to the HD consoles that had a huge launch game almost every 2 weeks, so it did hold up relatively good

ethomaz > GT5 outsells GT4 in the same lapse of time or not ? :)

I can't wait to see how Mario 3D and Mario Kart boost 3DS hardware...that's the question of this holiday!

** The week 49 showd in VGC for GT4 is wrong because that's uses just the Week 49 for Japan... America and EMEAA is Week 37/39... so the best Week for comparison is the Week 59 disconting 12 week sales from Japan and 2 week sales from EMEAA... so I estimate 6.63m for GT4 for Week 49.

*** The Week 49 for GT4 is 11th Feb 2006 just after the holiday period... GT5 will enter in Holiday now... the GAP will grow in GT5 favor.

f'n eh! PS3 will do wht i said in the Americas thread. when Japan numbers come in PS3 will do 300k!

360, Wii, and 3ds pulling off equaly impressive numbers. this an't noth'n? when the first wk of Nov, numbers comes in watch out cause i'm sure sells will double if not tripple but tripple maybe to early.

its as predicted. Japan for now will decide the gap b/t PS3/360 ww by yrs end, but after seeing these numbers Sony may not need Japan?

BF3 does 4m ww this wk with PC retail helping so maybe with download BF3 does closer to 5m ww, but MW3 will can kick these numbers right down the St.

GT5 continues to show why its legs are as long and sexy as Stacy Keibler's with 25k this wk and maybe 30k ww? Forz4 78k, jus dance wii 75k, mario kart Wii, 74k, Fifa PS3 continues to sell over 100k as the 360 version sells 61k.

BMAC continues to co top the chartz with 292k in sells on PS360, PES PS3 does, 52k, Wiisports and resort does 47k and 41k respectively, GEARS3 sells are slowing pretty fast with 25k, R&C:A4 1 does 16k in its second wk. it never had a chance.

Deus Ex PS3 does 14k, PES 360 does 12k, Deus Ex 360 does 11k, AC:B PS3 does, Mario kart, BLOPS PS3, and just dance 360 all do 10k, and last but certantly not least GTA4 PS3 does 9k.

it seems PS3 software has long legs after being released after a few yrs. i guess all Wii had to do was move out the way for PS3 to take off.

overall this was a great wk and the adjustment are insane.

PS3 170k, 360 118k, Wii 105k, and 3ds 97k. its all good. love the numbers. next wk will be even more interesting.

holly f'n hell. GT5 will definately do better then 4. and for those who doubted! i stay humble?

its as i've been saying all yr. 360 doesn't need a price drop to kick ass and keep taking names and MS won't make a pricedrop cause they see what i see and thats that theres no need.

+ Xbox360 is still cheaper than ps3 so no need for price cut.
