So this gets counted as a 50 out of 100 on metacritic huh? That is some master trolling right there...

It just lowered the Metacritic score by one whole point.

There was nothing wrong with Eurogamer's review, but this one is a joke. How in the hell are Uncharted's mechanics outdated? Archaic? Does he even understand what these words mean? Why would you even need to crouch in this game? I can't even name another third person action game that has a crouch button. How did he manage to do a somersault instead of a stealth kill? Those commands are mapped to different buttons. Is he really blaming his error on the game?

It's even more puzzling considering the same site gave Uncharted 2 a 10. Easily the dumbest game review I've read yet.

First of all, why is a C = to 50. From what I remember of grade school, a C is 70+.

 

Secondly, you guys need to calm down with these conspiracies. Uncharted fans should be proud of the score. Means the game is big enough that reviewers are willing to give it laughably low scores to get hits. This only happens with the biggest games. So no ps3 exclusives are not getting the shaft... Almost all big exclusives released lately are

Halo Reach got a 67 from the reviewing site that gave uncharted a 50 so it obviously isn't a "360 site"

Halo Reach got another troll review from gameshark, a 50 yet gameshark previously gave halo 3 a 100, and halo 3 odst an 83. So gameshark thought halo reach was significantly worse then odst???

Gears of War 3 got a 67 from gameshark as well while the previous 2 gears of wars got 100 and 91 from them

Most big games have been getting at least 1 troll reviews lately, so don't expect very anticipated games to get good metacritics, especially if exclusive.

..... show me where I complain about poor review scores about Forza.  Childish trolls scoring a game zero on public scoring is something entirely different.

Yeah, if you look at all the reviews he has written, his scores seem to be all over the place. Halo Reach got a B-, Fight Night Championship got a B+, Shift 2 Unleashed got a B, Kinect got a C+, Rage got a C+, Mafia 2 got a C-, etc.

I just think this guy wrote the review based on his preferences and he clearly doesn't seem to like the design of the cinematic game or the use of smooth animation meshing at the cost of instant control. Whether he's entitled to write the review in his opinion, or put it in the mindset of one who appreciates that style of game is a whole different discussion.

I'm not so sure about that. The same guy reviewed Uncharted 2 for that site 2 years ago and he gave that game an A. Maybe he was actually disappointed with UC3?

To be fair you can dive in Gears. However worse is you can't crouch in Gears unless you take cover against a low object, so he really isn't being fair in that aspect.

Topics like this shouldn't be posted. All you are doing is driving traffic to his site and making him more ad revenue. We all know uncharted 3 is a great game.
