Well there's been so much wallowing on the 2 or 3 negative reviews of UC3 out there they've put me off buying the game. I just went and cancelled my peorder (I admit I may still buy the thing but for now I've become disallusioned.)

I refuse to buy any game that doesn't recieve an average of 110 percent!!!!

But as far as you are concerned it's

Nathan Drake needs bigger biceps and needs to be about 20 years older. That alone should give it a C,

Also, all the puzzle solving and story scenes get in the way of what video games should really be about - shooting any thing that moves and nothing else. That should bring it to a D right there.

Finally, the PS3 does not come with a headset as a standard so I can't hear the kid screaming through the mic. That brings it to an F.

and it also chooses to use the face buttons of Sq Tr Ci and X for some reason.

i can't wait for COD to get an A for out dated mechanics.

Reviews are someone's opinion. And someone thought the game's mediocre, for whatever reason.

It happens with cinema, books and music, too. You will have the feeling that some reviewers don't review the game/movie, etc. for what it is, but the reviewer just points out what he/she doesn't like, whether you think that's relevant or not.

Just find the reviewer that gives the most importance to the aspects you like of a game, so the review will actually be useful for you.

I'm curious about what you mean by 'get any worse'.

Yeah Uncharted 3 looks to be mediocre at best, with all of its mediocre scores.
