SMW is an American Mario like SMB2. Lost Levels is a Japanese Mario. Real Mario games are international.

Mario is turned into Superman and a cowboy. Mushroom Kingdom gets demoted and we get Jurassic Park-lite. American footballkoopa has to be the lamest enemy.....EVER and he's at the end of every level with some gimmicky goalposts instead of the flagpole.

Super Mario 64 doesn't seem like a spinoff to me. Neither does Sunshine. Besides surely the DS version in this screwed up logic would be the third main entry to the 'main' Super Mario games, rather than the Wii version.

Stupid thread since we have yet to have 3 Mario games to begin with. All you have shown so far are toy, not games.

All 3 Mario games have multiplayer.

I also remember a time when someone in this thread (We all know who) said that Sim City is a toy and not a game and/or simulator because it's creator called it a toy. You remember this do you not?

By that logic than we already had a 4th Super Mario. If the creator called it Super Mario Bros. 4 then guess what, that's right, we already had a 4th game!

In all seriousness though, you should stop making threads. Nobody is ever going to agree with you because you make up ridiculous rules and criteria for what constitutes something as a game or what ever else might come to mind. Now M64 isn't a game but rather a gimmick because it is in 3D?
