It seems to me that most shooters are very simlar/ the same nowadays theres just no variation. I have actually got to the point where i am bored of shooters and i dont even think about getting the latest games because i expect them to be the same just on different maps.

Anyone else have this problem?

Disagree. Uncharted, Gears,Halo and Mass Effect give me enough variation to enjoy the genre. You need to stop playing military shooters.

Totally disagree as a person who primarily plays shooters. There are open world shooters, military shooters, arcade (halo style ) shooters, gears of war type third person shooter, Uncharted action based shooters, Mass Effect RPG style shooters, competive only shootes (MAG), platforming shooters (Ratchet and Clank).

So no I compleatly think there is a ton of variety.

If your talking FPS, then I agree. Games like COD, Battlefield, Homefront, Crysis, they are all starting to seem exactly the same. Even something like Rage which looks different, still feels like the same tired mechanics.

This is why I prefer shooters of the third person variety. Gears doesn't feel like uncharted and uncharted doesn't feel like red dead. There is more variety in TPS.

I have a ps3 but dont mind wich console ps3/xbox (not wii) i have but yh never liked uncharted. let the mind f*** begin
