how many guys do we have warring wemens clothing on a daily bases. i can imagine a boy coming to my house asking if i wanted to buy some girl scout cookies in a little pink dress.

Why do they separate boys and girls in the first place!? >_> Just mix them together. That way the kids can form patrols based on their preferences instead of their gender. Believe it or not but there are girls who likes archery and there are boys who likes knitting (or baking or whatever it is girl scouts do). Plus, even when you mix boys and girls you can still let the scouts form patrols with only boys or girls.

Edit: Also, if anything it's healthy to hang out with people of the opposite gender, imho.

Ummm, what's the big deal with that? Guys and girls share the same bathroom at my Uni. Male and female professors have a common restroom too. Don't see any chaos or anything.

The post above me made a comment about how this wasn't really news.  My post was a bit of a response to that one.

They should just combine them into one club in the first place.

Problem is, is that its a Christian organization originally and wants to continue that religous mantra of separation. It should just be called "Scouts" and then focus on normal full inclusion.

Its not like boys shouldn't learn to cook as much as girls learn basic survival skills.

Yeah, they shouldn't keep them separated and should be all one group of scouts. The interaction with the opposite gender will help both later on, I would think, plus both genders can learn some necessary skills from each other.

And so it begins.
