SALES

no, carry on, I read the title wrong

OT: Hope Reach can still hit 10 mill lfietime :

I hope you mean 10 mill by the end of the year

Anyways I think it has an excellent chance to get to 10 million by the end of this year...heck it's probably already pretty close due to being on demand on XBL for the past half a year+

lameeee :p  haha.  It will be tough to reach that (ha, get it?  reach?)  considering so many copies are being sold with that bundle.  It's one of those games that you would go out and get to start a library for a more hardcore gamer who would get that that bundle... but they won't have to now.  Once Halo 3 hit what Reach was doing in sales with no bundle... did it have a bundle as well?  If not, how long did it take to get 1 and a half more million sales?  Don't expect you to research specifics, but if you have an idea offhand, that would be cool.  I know it's Halo, and they do sell, but that's a lot to ask for when Halo 4 is coming out for 360 too right?

BOOM!  FACE KICK!

Thanks! :)

Nice to see an effort being made to track the total people that will have a Reach DD code :)

I would estimate Reach retail sales will still hit 10 million within the next 12 months

Thanks for this thread John.

For the record, I do not think Halo Reach will get that many more sales on Live over retail as the XBLA prices are quite a bit higher than what you can get in store.

I guess XBLA prices will start being a bit more competative when publishers do not have to be so reliant on retail for sales.

As far as I know Halo 3 didn't have a really substancial bundle.

Thread is updated.

Halo Reach sold almost 50k this week in retail.

Halo Reach digital sales are freely available on the Xbox Live Marketplace ! Its sales are 24k units ! That's not a lot at all but the best selling game on the XBLMP is Black Ops with 72k units sold.

Whhat's shocking are the prices on the XBLMP : they save 40% of the cost by cutting the distribution/retail costs and still sell games at the full retail price, and you can't even resell it to the used market... that's totally pathetic...

basically just add 1 million of sales to Halo Reach

cool
