Forming threads out of retaliation is not prohibited so long as neither thread is created with the intent to troll, flame, spam, etc. The Sony thread was taken with a light heart composed of jokes & people's sincere opinion of Sony (Quite an interesting thread IMO). There is nothing wrong with the existence of an Xbox thread with the same intentions. In fact, I promote threads like this. It's a refreshing deviation from the usual seriousness of the site. We'll probably see a Nintendo one soon.

When I think of the Xbox brand, I think of Sega. Honestly, am I the only one who's noticed the similarities between the X360 controller & Dreamcast controller?

First time I heard of xbox I thought it was some mystical porn box. Now I think halo, but deep inside I still feel porn box which is why I still support the system despite the fact that I sold mine.

the launch ps2's most defenitly had a failure rate greater than the 360. The 50% for the xbox was gotten from a survey filled out by magazine suscribers who may or may not have even owned 360s when they filled it out. When an actual warranty company was asked they said the failure rate was 23.7% though that was not from launch 360s.

The 360 controller is basically a slimmed down xbox controller. The xbox came out at the same time as the gamecube. So no copying there.

You are right about the disc scratching. You move the 360 even a little and it will probably destroy the disk.
