I would and so would many millions of others.

But if Sony was really smart,

They would make the Final Fantasy 7 remake for the VITA.  

Vita's nice, but Vita lacks that "I have to have that title or else" title.  You know, that one title that literally makes you jealous not to have it.  Sony doesn't really have any franchise that can do that anymore.  But they do have access to 1 that can (Sony has partial publishing rights to FF7), and they really should work night and day to make sure this deal with Squeenix happens.  Vita needs it.

I'd buy it twice..because I can.

I've beaten only FF Crisis Core. I love other RPGs like Golden Sun and going by other games that I have played that are similarly critically acclaimed(Ocarina of Time, etc), I expect that this game is awesome in terms of gameplay, atmosphere story. I'll play it eventually but if they were gonna remake it in HD, why play the original? I'll definitely buy a remake. Same goes for every critically acclaimed game that I haven't played yet.

   Nice thought! The 3DS only has Ocarina of Time right now(and its not a system seller if you already played OoT) and Mario Kart 7 by the end of the year(which isn't a system seller if u don't like Mario Kart). So I'm guessing the 3DS WILL have Pokemon and SmashBros as system sellers in future, but right now, neither of them, has that one unique must-buy-system-for-this game.

Why would you not? Since that first PS3 tech demo this seemed to be a constant background topic.

I think everyone would go buy that game, if it was a PS3 exlusive itd sell more than 7 million copies i bet.
