The Days of Future Past Stage hints at Mega Man in Ultimate MvC3... whether that's in DLC or not who knows, or it could just be a big troll...

These are characters from MvC2 that got the cut... Mega Man is the only one not "Apprehended" or "Slain"

captain commando, Gambit and IceMan would have been MUCH MUCH better :( gambit imo had some of the coolest moves the series has seen

Honestly I wouldn't. I greatly prefer the UMvC3 cast to the MvC2 cast. Like, not even close. Mega Man is the one big loss for me... I minorly miss Gambit and Venom too.
