Marvel vs. Capcom 3. When I first heard about this game, I went batshit crazy with excitement. I still have the trailers saved to my PS3, 360, and cell phone. The closer we got to the games release, the less I wanted it. The day it came out, I just felt a whole lot of "meh". Now, I don't even want it for cheap. My friend at work who actually plays Street Fighter 4 competitively (even used vactation days to compete in a tournament) bought MvC3 on day one. A couple of days later, he went back to Street Fighter.

And the ultimate validation: Capcom is releasing the updated version, soon. I didn't repeat my mistake of buying SF4 followed by SSF4 (making the first totally irrelevant).

GOD i wish i did this, now I have a useless copy of Mvs.C3 that just pisses me off when i look at it, SF3 online almost makes up for it. Almost

Im a multiplay owner so I didnt have cause to celebrate, Its not about worth, if you didnt own a Wii some people were just happy to play a game they wanted that they could not before, nothing wrong with celebrating that. BUT some are just zeolots and wanted to say "hahaha, we took your games" its pathetice and immature IMHO.

Socom 4. There are much better games released this year.

CDi games, Sega 32x and Sega CD games, and most Wii third party games.

Earthbound on Virtual Console!!!!!... ..... .... .. actually..... I cried several nights for not getting that one =(

Dragon Age II, DA1 was enough to put me off Bioware games (it actually made me consider going off games altogether) but even core BW fans tell me DA2 was bad so probably dodged a bullet there.

One I'm glad I'll be missing is Skyrim, Oblivion was so boring me an an ex bf had to play it in one hour shifts each, and I'm sure there are menial jobs that are more interesting than that game was.

What's with all the NMH hate? I thought it was good. Made me wish I didn't get blocked from playing killer 7 and pushed me play Contact (lot of meaningless effort to put in. Semi-good payoff.)

OT: I think that I'm glad I missed all the PS1 #'rd FF games. Don't know why though.

For a game that got hyped to all hell, it turned out IMHO to not be that good. You run down bland corridors and fight bland enemies, then you fight a boss and they look sorta cool. but the fight is not all that either, why the hell do i have to shake my Wiimote/Move in a jerk off motion to power up?? It wasnt fun the first time but they make you do it more than once?! I think the only reason why it got any attention was because it was one of the few M rated Wii games at the time and SOME Wii owners desperately needed something to look forward too on the Wii in this category. DMC4, GOW3, Bayonetta hell Castlevania LOS were way better action games than this, just my opinion
