I must admit that i am not a fan of the multiplayer aspects of games and was skeptical when ME3 was rumoured to have this but as long as it doesnt affect the singleplayer experience then i am more than happy for it to be added. I just hope the devtime taken to make this mode wont result in less work being put in other areas... They can say this all they want but it will only be proven when the game is in our hands!

The fact that this mode can have an outcome on the single player makes me slightly annoyed that I'll actually have to play it to get the full experience of ME3's main campaign, that alone is the reason I don't like added multiplayer elements to games like this.

Still buying it.

You don't have to play it to get the best single player ending.

MAybe not, I doubt they'll restrict their user base like that but when they say "success in multiplayer will have a direct impact on the outcome of the single player campaign," To me that reads like you'll get different gaming scenarios and different outcomes to certain things if you play the multiplayer, even if it doesn't affect the final outcome of the game, so therefore the 'full' experience.

Hmm, pie.
