Forums - Sony Discussion - The adventures of Tintin is a perfect example for how the Uncharted movie should be

Tagged games:

The latest Spielberg movie called "The adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn" is coming out this December and some awesome footage have been released.
This movie is not played by real actors in a real world but  animated and made with the use of motion technology.
While watching the latest trailer for this movie, only one thing went trough my head: UNCHARTED
this is just how the Uncharted movie should be. No clunky goofy actors that don't know **bleep** about the game, no misinterpreted from game to real life scenes and no disappointed fans because the experience of the movie was nothing like the experience of the game.

see for yourself what I mean:

If this would be used for the Uncharted movie all characters could  be voiced by the original voice actors and the great feeling of playing a cinematic segment of an Uncharted game could be captured in the movie.

So what do you thing ? Discuss

Is this some big movie coming out in the Netherlands?

lol... It's from Belgium... it's one of the most poplar comic books in Europe.. 350 million sales.. don't think anyone from Europe didn't read one in their childhood.

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I'm a big fan of TinTin BUT I think we should wait and at least see what Uncharted movie will be like..but animated movie would have been the easier way to go

Man I used to be a TinTin fanboy when I was much younger, I loved it more than I love Drake today, I'm so excited for this film it's unreal :D

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

I guess an animated Uncharted movie could work but I don't see the point of doing one.

And that Tintin movie is an abomination. It looks horrible and doesn't feel like Tintin at all.

Surprised you have hope, usually Blockbuster film approach isn't good for Video Game Films. Add on top that the movie is also experiencing bouncing directors, which isn't a good sign.

I have high hopes for Tin Tin, since Stephen Moffat is the co-writer. I honestly think the man should write more.

I can see the "Uncharted" flick going in that direction. Shame they didn't cast Nathan Fillion, though. There's actually a recent  comic strip about this trailer: www.cinemabums.com

I rather be a pessimistic and be pleasantly surprised, unless it is something that I think has proven itself for example (Nintendo Games, Sony Games, Square Enix's Handheld Games, Eidos Games, etc).
