Not only is it already explained about the different cultures, but also, does it really matter? Dead is dead...if someone wants to kill themselves or someone else, they'll do it...It doesn't matter if they have a gun, knife, poison, strangle, baseball bat, car, or jump, or hang...dead=dead.

Not necessarily, and this has also already been explained.

I saw the explanation, I just don't agree with it....Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

What do you think of heroin?

Yeah, discussing training requirement. My point is, that not everybody who carries guns IS trained. And I'm not calling anyone specifically ignorant and stupid. I'm saying it's ignorant and stupid in general that people WITHOUT training are allowed to carry guns. Any mentally unstable person can just get a gun and use it, for example.

Mentally unstable people (those put into a mental health facility foceably) are by federal law not allowed to own firearms. Non-issue

Guns and crime rate are not correlated, too much confounded data and statistical contradictions, end of story. Find something else to argue for or against gun ownership but crime rates are a non-sustainable argument on both sides (lowers or raises crime rates). The two are simply not correlated.

I just think it is interesting that the same people who think guns should be legal also think that drugs should be illegal.  Sounds kind of hypocritical, doesn't it?

How is gun ownership and legalizing mind/chemical/physiologicaly altering  substances even realted, let alone hypocritical?

i have just seen the news, and it reminded me this post, cause yesterday there were a fight between two groups, and 3 person were injured by knifes, what would have happened if they had had guns?

i will be pleasant if someone can answer this question.

BTW it is true that guns don't shoot by themself, people are who shoot other people, but without guns, you can't shoot.

The relationship is freedom.  Why should the government determine what I put in my body, let alone my hand.....if it doesn't hurt anyone.
