Great 360 and 3DS numbers and average otherwise. I'm glad to see the Ico/SotC Collection to do that much in its debut in the Americas.

The GOW collection did 120k in it's first week,as a comparison.

Gears 3 had a very good second week, and the boost for the 360 is nice too. After looking at these numbers and the MediaCreate numbers I guess the PS3 and 360 will be very close this week WW.

2012 - Top 3 [so far]

                                                                             #1                                       #2                                      #3

I thought Gears 3 might be even more front loaded this time. 1 and 2 did 300k and 330k 2nd wk in Americas so this continues a strong early showing. My 468k WW prediction is way low.

The HW bump won't be anything like MGS4 (roughly 220k) obviously but it's pretty surprising for the 3rd in the series this gen. Hard to say at this time of year but it must be around 100k WW so far? Last year 360 did 109k with Reach in wk 3 but the redesign was having an effect. 360 was getting thumped pretty consistently before last week.

Not sure if these nos will justify a Deus Ex sequel. SW seemed weak overall to me but Oct 2, 2010 shows 4.2m as well.

This reminds me that I need to pick up my Fifa 12 pre-order :/

Completed defeated the purpose of pre-ordering there hatmoza!

360 had a smaller drop than I expected.
Gears 3 sold slightly less than I thought it would.

Halo Reach is trucking away still! Gotta love that.

Wont be long now till Gears 3 hits the 4 million mark and looks like Reach is showing some sexy legs.

360 HW boost still nice although the Gears SW is less than I figured. I thought it would be 550K to 600K - still, a good second week nonetheless.

PS3 okay I think for time of year and status as second choice in the region. Good opening for ICO/SOTC too. Seeing LBP2 above Deus Ex makes me realize LBP2 needs a Deus Ex level... must explore this.

Wii pretty low and no titles in the top 10 (although a fair number below that).

Everything else as expected. Depending on Japan/EMEAA it could be another close PS3/360 week.

I think FIFA gave XB360 a help bigger than expected to keep Gears 2nd week drop very low. XB360 could become 1st lifetime in America in 2-3 years if Ninty doesn't resurrect Wii, even sooner if Ninty instead kills it young.

Good point.  The second week Gears SW was a bit lower than I expected but it's easy to see the combined lift from Gears and Fifa delivering the HW numbers shown.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Nice numbers for Gears 3 & 360 numbers again, Halo: Reach still going well :)

Really interested in next weeks numbers to see how Rage has performed first week.

>:( Fifa numbers.
Also, how was it a good idea to release PES next to Fifa?

Also, many PS3 games got a comeback this week, could someone explain?
