Came to post a thread about the speed only to find one, 9seconds to load this part of the forum and 5seconds for this thread. Sigs are disabled to help with speed aswell as the pages seem to choke when i have them on.

The site's speed has been horrid for me today, usually taking 10-20 seconds to load anything, if it decides to load.

Today i have consistently been getting 5-second wait times after every click, yesterday i was intermittently getting "503" errors for lack of responding servers, and i've also been running into site-breaking sql errors

It has certainly gotten progressively worse throughout October

Definitely the site has been pretty slow for the past couple of months. 503 errors, sql errors, even 404 errors. Today it's taking me between 10-15 seconds for each page to load.

You are still quite kucky though. It takes me minutes to load a page. Ugh.

Using adblock and disabling sigs should help your speed on this site.

Same thing happened to me a couple of minutes ago. I was trying to post on the Dark Souls thread and I would either get 503s or it would take over a minute to load. It seems to come in waves, these access problems.

The site has always been relatively slow, especially compared to other gaming sites and it also means I visit it less and less.

The barrage of images and (switching) ads don't really help. I can understand needing to earn a buck, but hell...

Apparently the site has moved to a smaller server. Combined with the disappearance of the data and charts, I'd say this site is slimming down to being a small dedicated site instead of the huge money printing machine some hoped it would become.
