I thought your pictures were pretty good.

Thank you so much ;u;!

Yeah no problem.

Like the OP, I also have a D7000.

Here is a photo of my dog now at 6 months...

A picture when he was a puppy at 5 weeks old (still with my breeder but visited her house)

A flower...

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

^^ Your dog is really cute!

Some great photos.

Here are a few I took when I saw the band Rammstein. I think these are some of the best photographs I have taken. Though I have taken tons while hiking. Have to go through those to find the best ones.

Just like the opening of xXx...FIRE MASKS!

Anyway, those are some great pictures in this thread, very good photography indeed.

I liked the top picture the best!
Have I asked before what is the rarest camera out there?

Is that supposed to be followed by a joke? I mean, the  "why does the chicken cross the street?" kind of question? Sorry if I don't get it, please tell.

You took those pictures? They are amazing!

Thanks! Yet not a tenth as beautiful as your avatar.  She's so gorgeous!

I do as little postprocessing as possible but a friend of mine goes completely nuts with Adobe photoshop. It's amazing what you can do with that, although it is costly. He works for Adobe so he gets to play around with the $800 professional version.

Your video and pictures made me cold! Seriously now, I loved them and truth to be told, as I watched them I keep telling myself I need to go south this winter (remember I live in the suthern hemisphere) to take some beautiful winter pictures myself. I seriously want to try and do something similar to your video too!

I was able to surf through your facebook and panoramio albums with no issues.Congratulations to your wife too! Now, about photoshop... You know, not so long ago I felt about photo editing as anybody could feel about cheating or plastic breast: "ok, it might look kitsch or even good but there's no artistic value behind it". With time I changed my mind about it, specially realizing it's not easy and there's a lot of space for creativity in post-procesing. Anyway, I do still try to make my photos as good as possible as if I wanted to avoid photoshop or any other software of the kind.

Your pictures are great! You shouldn't feel they are not good at it. I personally appreciate every picture for what it is, a testimony, a document that allows me to see what other person thought it was worth to see. That makes me think about what I'm looking at, its aesthetic value, my feelings towards what it, but also about the person who shot it and the reasons he/she might have had to share it.

I'm really interested in that 365 project. Is it what I think it is? Do you have to upload a picture a day?

Here some samples:

Are these natural plateau on top of the mountains?

in any case, I had a DSC 7

and used to do a lot of pictures with it in the early 2000 years. here are some samples of my annimal work (that's all I have online, they've been resized for web viewing and most used the zoom :p)

Unfortunately, my sister dropped the camera... and I haven't allowed myself to buy one worthy of spending time taking pictures since.

Those plateau are natural. All of that area was covered by water millions of years ago and the water made the rock and other minerals around them to erode.

Your camera looks so stylish! And your pictures are great too! Too bad your sister did exactly the same my wifey did years ago with an old samsung digital camera I had...!! She dropped as a cold wave hit her on her feet (we were on a beach). I could only hold the urge to kill her because we were just in love!! :P

That puppy of yours surely was cute! The perfect accomplice to take for a walk to a park to meet nice girls!

How long have you had your camera? I'm just learning how to make proper use out of mine, trying really hard on Manual to get to understand the complexity of it all. It's taking longer than I expected, but I'm confident that it will eventually turn out good.

Its really an art. I love these photos...... thanks

If you have the chance to see them, you won't be disappointed. It was well worth every penny I spent.

I heard they were great live.

I just asked my Step Dad, he has the tickets and we are going to see them, can't wait, should be good. :D

Its suppose to be a greatest hits tour, so expect a lot of older songs. Have a great time at the show.

Yes, that's the tour.

Did you see the same one? How long ago was it?

And thanks, I will. :)
