Humanity = Undead Babies on the area prior to Gravelord Nito on the Tomb of Giants
Souls = Forest PVP, Dark Anor Londo NPCs, Forest NPCs

Current PC Build

CPU - i7 8700K 3.7 GHz (4.7 GHz turbo) 6 cores OC'd to 5.2 GHz with Watercooling (Hydro Series H110i) | MB - Gigabyte Z370 HD3P ATX | Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Gaming OC BLACK 11G (1657 MHz Boost Core / 11010 MHz Memory) | RAM - Corsair DIMM 32GB DDR4, 2400 MHz | PSU - Corsair CX650M (80+ Bronze) 650W | Audio - Asus Essence STX II 7.1 | Monitor - Samsung U28E590D 4K UHD, Freesync, 1 ms, 60 Hz, 28"

I killed the first black Knight that I encountered, the one in Unded Burg, in the first few hours of the game, using trickery, cowardice, an lightning enchanted axe and luck. It dropped the Black Knight sword. I'm thinking this is a huge luck, since it's by far the strongest weapon I have (not that I have many fancy ones). I started with another character when I was feeling stuck with this one, and I killed the same knight with trickery, cowardice and the zweihander, and it dropped a stupid stone.
Anyway, I'm a fan of the black knight sword.

I'm seriously considering ditching this game, as patch 1.04 appears to be PS3 only. Apparently, From Software only recognizes the existance of the PS3 version as a 360 version was never planned, but was ported by Namco instead.

Fuck that, I'm out.

Was readin a bit more about the patch last night.

Wonder why pyromancy got nerfed. I think the prob with it now is it relies too much on luck for anything to land - I've been able to dodge pretty much all fire spells. The whole concept should just be scrapped and redone. Having a 3rd spell/magic line that doesn't have it's own stat was a bad idea from the start. I am glad Iron Flesh was nerfed though - somethin that strong has no place in this game =/

Aside from that, Giant's Set lost 20 poise no longer making it the best heavy set. Apparently Havel's/Elite Knight set also lost some poise. Not sure if any actual defense numbers went down yet. Poise ring will actually have some use now. I never really got hit hard enough to ever need it while wearing heavy armors.

I'm amazed at all the Iron Flesh/Crystal Ring Shield comin from other forums......seems lots of people really do wanna be able to cheese their way through the game :z

I'm just waiting for Player1x3 to come to this thread raging about the fixing of the infinite souls/no dying glitches XD. But is it really a wonder so many people wanted to cheese their way through this game? It's one of the hardest games of this gen and a lot of people want "bragging" rights on how they "conquered" it, even if they do leave the glitching and cheapness part out of that tale

I pity the poor souls that could only win on PVP with the Crystal Ring Shield...I'm going out for a hunt later in the day on PVP and it's gonna be glorious...

My friend is borrowing Dark SOuls at the moment, but do not fret I'll be back to continue work on my sunlight bro! The patch notes are AMAZING, seems great! One question though is it easier to summon other friends or for them to summon you or still no to much confirmation? Either way patch notes are amazing and after my weeny friend is done with Dark Souls I'll be back!!

D:

I spent 15 Twinkling titanites on it :'(, and Pyro Glove nerfed from 270 to 230 ... :'(

I was hoping they remove Strong Magic Shield all together , good thing they redused the duration.

Ring of Fog is now useless, take that cheaters :p

RoF still has it's uses. Unexperienced players or players that aren't paying attention can be sneak attacked by a RoF user, though it is useless after being detected. It now works like the Graverobber Ring on Demon's Souls.

What? They nerfed pyromancy? Well that sucks. If anything was to be nerfed, it would be magic spells. Only reason why I lose in pvp is because of those homing soul spells.
