Did you ever collect Pokemon cards? Does anyone collect them now?

I used to collect them in elementary school. I still have my collection but they're kinda like junk now..... They just sit there in a binder waiting to be loved but nobody wanting to answer the call.

Playstation All-Stars is one of the best games I've played this gen, and is the most fun I've had in a game this gen.

I've been in the process of moving the last week, and while I was cleaning out my room I saw my binders and shoe boxes filled with cards. I'm not kidding when I say my parents easily spent well over 1k just in booster packs and buying rare cards... probably around 2k. This was back when I was 8-10 years old or so.

Insane shit now that I'm older and look back on it. :P I love my cards though, even if I am almost 22. =D

I stole money from my mum's purse to get them, don't worry I learnt my lesson as after finding out the story we got our ass handed to us. Normally that would of been the end of it but my parents then decided to rip all the cards I bought (Infront of me).

"Life is but a gentle death. Fate is but a sickness that results in extinction and in the midst of all the uncertainty, lies resolve."

I've still got all of mine in a lever arch folder somewhere. I still remember when I was the only kid at school with the original base set Charizard, I loved that short lived popularity.

Yeah i have a few thousand, haven't collected in years.
Last i checked around 300-400 holo's.

I only collected the originals, still have the whole collection :D Loved them, not a big fan of anything outside the first 150

When I worked at a gaming shop I learned how to play and since I knew how to play Magic I already knew (I knew one guy that never even looked at the rules or watched anyone play but he passed the gym leader test because he could play M:tG).

It was actually pretty lucrative because I taught people how to play ante and I had a near unbeatable deck (only time I would lose is if I just ran out of time in a tournament). It was this bastard energy-less deck that just eventually drew the opponent out of cards. I won a few Charizards that way.

I used to collect them back in the days. I had some holographic birthday pikachu and a few charizards.

You people are Pokemon masters for sure. I still have them but they are from the GBA era with the latest card about within a year before launch of the 4th gen cards

I remember one time that someone gave me a stack of card! It was like a foot tall. This was the original set from the game boy era. Of course they didn't last long as they all were washed up. So I collected Pokemon cards since 5 to 11 believe

(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shinning justice on you.

I have quite a few cards from the following sets:

Base Set, Jungle, Fossil and Base Set 2.

I also have a few from Team Rocket and a handful from Neo Genesis.

Outside of those, I have a few from EX: Ruby and Sapphire when I wanted to start collecting again but quit around EX: Sandstorm.

Finally, I have 10 booster packs worth of Black and White cards.

Pixel Art can be fun.
