9/10

It's a great machine overall, but there were parts of the race where it was like "I'm so far ahead, I don't need to try," and those parts bothered me.....

This is a satisfactory answer. Wii's dominion could have been yet more crushing, but Nintendo chose to drift at a few points. Odds are on a "lost generation" of games from Nintendo probably in the early 09 timeframe, when there was some sort of mass cancellation or retooling that was never let out...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

8.7/10
Great 1st party lineup. Played my Gamecube more though.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Nice troll thread.

What is sad is you cannot take honest opinions.

Here's the way I look it, a truly great library is well rounded. The Wii does not have a well rounded library.

One of the few things i agree with you on. For a market leader, it had a sad library of games, not much variety and no 20 different Wii clones and fit games is not variety. Sure i can talk about the ho-hum motion tech (before Motion+), the terrible online, meh multimedia features, old hardware, plummet of VC games in the past few years. But its really about games, and the Wii is literally missing genres, whole genres, unacceptable for a market leader. I give it an extra point for putting motion to the front

I'm sure we agree on a lot of crap. Even if you think the userbase of Motion Plus is as significant as say the Kinect.

8.0

+ Best 1st Party line up for this generation (Other M, Metroid Prime Corruption, SMG1&2, FireEmblem, LoZ:TP etc).
+ Fully Backward Compatible.
+ VC was a great idea even if it didn't reach it's full potential.
+ Some great 3rd party exclusives like LKS, Muramasa, Cursed Mountain, MH:Tri, Epic Mickey, etc
+ Two full Zelda games
+ Made motion control a viable aspect in video games.
+ Humbled Sony and their fans into last place after leading 2 generations making the next generation 8 to be anybody's game(my opinion of course)
- Wii Music
- WM+ should have been built in
- Underpowered compared to the competition.
- VC should have had more games than what they currently have (I want Cadash etc)

woah now, i didnt say "significant" that is a strong word and is quite subjective. I just said that the userbase is higher, and if we go by numbers that is something that is not subjective

10/10

A brilliant idea that was perfectly executed.

Wii's 3rd party games 2/10.
