Im thinking more of 3+ mil but if it does reach 4 mil...then shit just got real.

I'm going for a great big sit on the fence on this one. No way I'm going to go against a BHR-3 PS3 related prediction, but it's also a big call for UC3 to make 4 million by 1 January. So it's a wait and see for me.

Will UC3 be a LOTR with expanded sales with each instalment, or will it be like some other movie trilogy I can't think of right now where the second movie represented the peak of its success?

I guess fw will be around 1.5 million... so over 3 million is almost certain but 4 millions is harder.

But tha's BHR-3... so I can't say no then YES IT WILL :D.

I see a drop from U2 like Resistance 2 to 3. And I'm gonna come out and say the Sony Online Pass is why. Thats why I wont be purchasing new. Be buying used for the single player,

Whoa. Uncharted is huge but PS3 owners are going to flock to battlefield, and COD the following week. 950K opening (max), then 2.9M by year end (sadly). I hope I am wrong, I hope...

People are sleeping on Uncharted 3, when it comes to sales IMO.

I think all of this MW3 and BF3 talk is nonsense, for the simple fact that the people that buy Uncharted games in the first weeks are the hardcore uncharted guys.

Same thing with a franchise like gears, if Gears was out November 1, it would have great opening  numbers as well, and the new guys to the franchise that already purchased it right now (because there was lack of games), would purshase the game later, because of good reviews and great quality overall.

I think every great game (big franchises) sells what they have to sell regardless of realease date, when it is all said and done.

And IMO, Uncharted will sell, regardless of how many it sells FW or until the end of the year because it will be a great game.

My bolded predictions for Uncharted 3:

Atleast 2M firt week (based upon American preorder numbers, if they have 20k weeks in the next 3 weeks, plus 3 50k weeks like uncharted 2 had, they will have  500k in americas, and based upon the add in the NFL openner, I think Sony is going all in with this game when it comes to adds, I know it is Sony)

Reviews will be as good as Uncharted 2, no drop off

And you know what, regardless of how many it sells, I will be there enjoying the hell out of the best new franchise this generation gave us

Man, its coming in between BF3, MW3, Skyrim and more. Its lucky if it sells 2.5-3M I honestly believe that. With that said, getting it day 1 and I truly hope it gets the sales it deserves.
