Why did the thread turn into a Moderation thing? I agree with Carl Maxwell was a obvious biased Mod.. everybody biased towards something it human nature but to be at a level he was, for mad wasnt good choice.

I believe we should banning crybabies. I think we catter to them to much. I get very tired cry about the stupidest comments ... its funny if we speak ill activision nobody cares but minute its the big 3 its problem. If your not tough enough to be on a competitive sales site, where factionswill form that will be rooting the success of the own and failure of another.. the leave its obviously not for you.

Funny, I believe in civility and loyal discourse on everything I do. I don't see why both should be thrown out the window just because it's a "competitive sales site". As far as I know, it's also a place to discuss video games right? If that's the case, then some civility should be shown and trolling or malitious intent goes against those principles.

I guess the anonimity of the internet really gets to some people.

You can always be competitive with great arguments and still be civilized, not make some unnecessary comments ("yay Wii down 0.1 marketshare!!"), ("I think this should not be on this system, it should be on my favorite one because it is better"), and that was what Maxwell used to take care of, those comments that were stealth trolling.

The point is, he was way, WAY too biased. As I said earlier, he simply hated the fact that some people could talk bad of Nintendo.

AFAIK they only delete your post history for a permaban, not just a temporary ban. If we are assuming that someone is bad enough that they will never post anything worthwhile in the future, we can also assume that they have never said anything worthwhile in the past either.

I knew someone would bring that thread up, it was just his point of view.
Anyway, it's hard not to realize the sad state of Nintendo forums since he left, where people like Antabus, and to a lower degree, M.U.G.E.N, can easily get away with whatever they say, baiting others, really, it is just too damn sad.
With that, I politely leave this thread.

NINTENDO forum have been shape for years. That side of the side of the site has stop caring about anything xxcept doom and gloom. Whan was the last time honest game discussioned happened over there?
