Yeah, dissapointed in reviewers.

9 out of 100 does seem pretty horrible.

LOL, I should have thought of that

No, because arbitrary numbers don't translate into my enjoyment of a game. And keep in mind, I'm on the review staff here at VGC.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

There's no way Gears 3 will get less than 90. It will be hailed as the best game on X360 - deservedly so.

Only if Dom is still whimpering about his dead wife.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Only a few games I would expect above a 90 and this is one of them so I would be disappointed. Games of this legacy always seem to get high scores unless they lack innovation or are buggy. If both are present than I have reason to be disappointed a little.

The score doesn't matter, it will be tainted by multiplayer anyway.
I will be disappointed if the single player campaign is a highly predictable 8-10 hour experience again with obvious co-op sign posting breaking the immersion.

No, because the metacritic score isn't my opinion...

2012 - Top 3 [so far]

                                                                             #1                                       #2                                      #3

From what I hear it can't possibly be worse than Gears 2 online. Also it's the first 360 game all year, working in it's favour

No, I gave up on putting much emphasis on metacritic averages. I generally differentiate between numerical scores and how much I enjoy games. There are some games that fall within the 60-70 range that I really enjoyed. It really depends on where your prefrences lie. That said, I'm expecting this game to come in around 90 (maybe slightly higher or lower) given that reviewers are now less likely to hand out high scores in comparison to past years.
